SALSA and ZUMBA
Cuba, like Scotland, has given the world many great exports. Cuban rum for example; a taste of Havana in a glass, The Buena Vista Social Club, among many other music legends.
Probably the finest export this tiny island has given the world is Salsa dancing; a social dance that has taken the world by storm. Apart from being a hugely enjoyable hobby for couples and singles , it is a superbly fun way of getting fit and enhancing your social life!
Academia de Salsa has been spreading the joy of salsa in Scotland since it formed the first salsa school in Glasgow 20 years ago and we are delighted to announce that we have set up residence in the Garage on Mondays & Wednesdays and 2 Sundays a month.
Dance yourself fit with ZUMBA dance workout at 6.15pm both days or check out our Salsa for Absolute Beginners courses. We teach Puerto Rican & Cuban Salsa, Bachata and Tango to all levels. Our full timetable is at
